We are excited and proud to be organizing this race for the fourth year, in support of, TELUS Spark, the New Science Centre. Last year the event raised $23,047.50!! We want to raise even more money this year and we need your help by participating and raising funds! We are again offering prizes to everyone who raises $100 or more for this great cause. The fourth annual Urban Venus Deliciously Sweet Run is taking place Sunday September 15, 2013 with the race starting from outside TELUS Spark. There is a 10km, 5km and 1km Kids’ Cupcake Chase again this year. Early bird registration is in effect for the 5km and 10 km races until May 31st. Sign up by May 31st for only $40 for the 5km or 10km race, $15 for the kids’ Cupcake Chase!
On site this year Urban Venus will be offering mini manicures, Vivid Hair Designs will be offering feather hair extensions and Cakeworks cupcakes and goodie bags will be handed out to all participants. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Bridal Parties
The unique beauty bar concept of Urban Venus Nail Bar is especially conducive to social events. We love to throw parties and would love to help you with your next occasion! Whether it is a birthday party, bridal shower or team building session, we can accommodate up to 12 people for spa treatments. Bring your own food and drink or we can help arrange the goodies with one of our preferred caterers.
Please call Urban Venus Nail Bar FIRST at (403) 266-1158 (Downtown) or (403) 686-0997 (West Springs) to see if the time you require is available. If that space is available, we will tentatively book your time until we receive your deposit & forms. Since we bring in additional staff for your party we require your non-refundable deposit & Party Forms dropped off at Urban Venus Nail Bar at least 3 weeks prior to your appointment. We cannot guarantee your time until we receive your non-refundable deposit & forms. If we have not received your deposit 21 days prior to your party we must forfeit your scheduled time for other clients that wish to book services.
After we receive your deposit & party forms, an Urban Venus Party Coordinator will phone & confirm your appointments.
